Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever sometimes use supplemental landowner payments to assist with the implementation of habitat projects. These payments focus on local or regional habitat priorities. Opportunities vary depending on funding availability. This financial assistance is independent of state and federal cost-share programs. If you are interested in state or federal cost-share, please reach out to your local technical assistance provider using our Find a biologist page.
This program tends to be short-term and dependent on available funding. Some past examples have included emphasis on pivot corners and planting them in wildlife habitat. This has been done in Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado.
